The Glendale Parks & Recreation Department manages 44 parks and facilities. When it comes to amenities, Glendale parks are on target. Sahuaro Ranch Park is located at 9802 N. 59th Street and features a ramada, picnic area, grills, playgrounds, and sports fields. North Horizon Park is located at 6300 w. Rose Lane Aquatics Center is open during the summer months and features a splash pad, diving well, zero depth entry, and a giant slide. There are fees for admission.

Who doesn’t love running through water on a hot day? Heroes Park provides free access to their splash pad from May – September each year. The pad is open only on weekend from August – September.
